BTrDB is a time series database for telemetry data, with emphasis on high performance insert, as well as logarithmic time aggregate queries. BTrDB was originally designed as the primary datastore for synchrophasor data in the ARPA-E Microsynchrophasors for Distribution Systems project, as no existing time series database was capable of handling the high density telemetry streams produced by the microsynchrophasor devices.
