Mr. Plotter
Mr. Plotter is a data visualisation tool that leverages BTrDB’s sublinear aggregation queries to enable rapid interactive plotting of hundreds of millions of data points, while preserving the useful information in the data. It has been used extensively in the ARPA-E Microsynchrophasors for Distribution Systems project, where power grid operators have described the experience of interactive grid data visualisation as “like being a kid in a candy store”.
